Exceptional Student Education Diploma

SUPPORTED LEVEL*

Students functioning at the Supported Level are generally considered to be capable of achieving supported independence in adulthood and require supervision and support throughout their lives. Students functioning at the Supported Level complete tasks and activities of daily living and work, enhancing the quality of life and maximizing personal effectiveness.

* Students graduating before the school year 2002-2003 are held to mastery of the ESE Student Performance Standards and are expected to obtain 20 credits before receiving an Exceptional Student Education Diploma. (Refer to ESE Appendix Column IV.)
