In an effort to better inform parents about exceptional student education opportunities for students who are parentally placed in private schools (PPPS) in Brevard County, this website has been developed.
A team of BPS professionals, including ESE teachers, Speech/Language Pathologists, ESE Support Specialists and School Psychologists, provide an array of services designed to support the needs of these students. Services offered to all parentally placed private school students (PPPS) may include taking referrals and screening/evaluating students for possible disabilities. For those students enrolled in non-profit private schools, there is also the consideration of speech therapy, language therapy, assistive technology, provision of equipment and materials for teachers and ESE teacher consultation to assist in service and/or curriculum decisions.
